Reference Charity Horse Race Night at the Cart & Horses, Kingsworthy. I would just like to give you a HUGE thank you for your wonderful evening – wasn’t it fun!! EVERYONE enjoyed themselves thoroughly, and that was all down to you – thank you very much indeed. The evening was a great success moneywise – we made between £1100 and £1200 PROFIT!! I was absolutely knocked out by it – I really was. You know your business don’t you. Thank you John, you’re brilliant and of course I shall be recommending you to anyone & everyone!! Just a note to thank you for the excellent way in which you ran our race evening last Friday. Once again, you both managed the event very smoothly and professionally and succeeded in squeezing the maximum amount of money out of the assembled throng – the South Downs branch’s share of the profit was £1407, which was excellent and will enable us to sponsor 5 or 6 young people on voyages in our brigs. I am sure we will meet again one day but, in the meantime, many thanks for looking after us so well.

Thank you for running our race night on Saturday. Everyone I have seen since has told me what a fantastic evening it was and that is largely down to you. The evening raised £935 and still left us with beer and wine stock, which the dealers are looking to trade at this moment! This will mean that the final figure for the night will be close to £1100 which is exactly what I had hoped for.

Thank you so much for a superb evening on Saturday, you really gave us excellent entertainment for our Charity Night. You also helped put me at ease and ensured everyone entered into the spirit of things. We all loved the little quiz after each race and the fun you injected into the whole evening. It certainly seemed as if a lot of money was changing hands and people were really involved with the racing.
