THE COST

Our charge for staging an event is £250 for up to and including 8 races. Additional races can be shown at a cost of £25 per race - inclusive of tote tickets and an auctioning of the horses - if required.

FILM & EQUIPMENT HIRE

Please note, we do not ‘Hire-out’ our films or projection equipment as we cannot specialise in catering for ‘Do It Yourself’ events.  There is however one thing you can be sure of - if you book Susan or John Lambourn they will take full charge of running the event for you.  All you have to do is appoint a responsible person to look after the money being raised on the night - and then, both you and your team of organisers can relax - and simply enjoy the evening!

UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES. If your event is to raise money for Charity we will not charge any booking, postponement or cancellation fees - unless the event is cancelled 5 days prior to your date – and only then if we have incurred any film hire or courier charges. We do however, strongly recommend that you reserve a provisional date for your function as soon as practicable. Settlement of our fees are usually made at the end of an evening. Please be aware that we will need to negotiate petrol costs where the travelling of long distances is involved. (Please also note that we are not registered for VAT.)

A SAFEGUARD OFFER TO ALL ‘CHARITY’ FUND RAISERS

Provided both you and your team have followed our advice and recommendations contained in this fact sheet – and your event subsequently fails to achieve a profit of at least £250, then the amount raised will be split 50-50 between your charity and Lambourn Racing.

This offer will help minimise any losses in the event of an unforeseen financial disaster. Conversely, our maximum fee will be our 8 film base rate (currently £250) plus extra races.

MASTER OF CEREMONIES/PROJECTIONIST/AUCTIONEER

The price includes a Master of Ceremonies who, in addition to running the evening, will be equipped with an unlimited supply of pre-printed race cards and tote tickets, up to 10 filmed races, a 5ft/6ft screen, a DVD Projector & DVD Player (a 16MM Projector if necessary) a Microphone and a PA sound system. He or she will help your Treasurer calculate all the odds and amounts paid to all winning tickets.
